Ellie Baines has worked on a number of high-stakes white collar investigations and trials. Prior to joining Elsberg Baker & Maruri, Ellie was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell and clerked for the Honorable Michael L. Brown on the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She obtained her J.D., Order of the Coif, from UCLA School of Law and her B.S.F.S., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

• Represented JPMorgan Chase in criminal proceedings against Charlie Javice and Olivier Amar for fraud and conspiracy related to misrepresentations made to induce JPMorgan to acquire their startup company, Frank.
