Elsberg Baker & Maruri founding partner David Elsberg recently spoke with New York Law Journal on the role of artificial intelligence and the continued strength of trial-focused litigation boutiques.
“The top litigation boutiques are by design comprised of trial lawyers, true trial lawyers who … go into a difficult trial and win,” Elsberg said. “That is really playing to the advantage of litigation boutiques, because some of the, what I call the assembly line aspects of litigation, which by the way, can be soul crushing for bright young associates, some of those things are being reduced or replaced by AI. Whereas the things we're selling, our greatest strengths, are things where AI is not even coming remotely close to being able to replace that.”
