Chelsea Shaffer is an associate at Elsberg, Baker & Maruri. Chelsea’s practice focuses on trials and complex litigation matters. She has worked on trial teams for high-profile litigations in state and federal courts across the country.
Chelsea attended Yale Law School, where she served as Chair of Yale Law Women. While studying at Yale, she was a member of the Veterans Legal Services Clinic and argued before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. After law school, Chelsea clerked for Judge Victor A. Bolden of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.

- Represented Microsoft as a member of the trial team that successfully defended Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard from the FTC’s challenge in federal court.
- Represented Altria Group, Inc. in the first bellwether trial in the multi-district litigation that arose from Altria’s minority investment in JUUL labs, Inc.
- Represented Monsanto Company at trial in products liability litigation.
- Represented various companies as litigation counsel in connection with government investigations.
